40 Years Of Deliciousness
At the ripe old age of 12, my mom enrolled me in a "Wilton's Cake Decorating Class" at our local small baking shop, "Baker's Kitchen." I became a professional cake decorator in 1985 at the age of 16 when I was lucky enough to get a job at the bakery at our local Farm Fresh grocery store. My mentor, Lillian Bagley, had been decorating for decades, and was generous in sharing her knowledge in techniques for special occasion/wedding cakes.
Of course, a lot has changed in technique, style, and fashion over the years. I've continued to bake for family and friends but more of a hobby. In 2020, I became certified as a Wedding & Event Planner and am now proud to offer my talents for beautiful and delicious cakes & desserts as well as event planning & design services.
